The Duties of Muslim Diplomats in Contemporary Times in the Light of Prophetic Hadiths
Abstract:
Diplomacy in Islam did
not develop in a day or two, but it has taken a special form since the time of
the Prophet of Islam ﷺ. Islam is a complete
code of life covering all spheres of social, economic, legal, cultural and
political human activities. Islam is for all humanity regardless of caste,
religion and color. It is Islam that envisions a universal state based on human
equality. The primary responsibility of the state is to create order in the
life of the subjects and to take measures for protection. A very beautiful form
of social management is diplomacy. Another name for diplomacy is diplomacy.
Diplomacy has an important role in modern times. Today, the world is developing
at such a fast pace that there is also a display of hatred and forceful use of
force between different countries. But diplomacy in one form or another is
playing an important role in promoting better relations between international
countries and resolving differences and conflicts through negotiations. The diplomacy of the Holy Prophetﷺ
consisted of unparalleled prudence, political insight, successful
strategy. With the universal characteristics of the best constitution, it is
the source of guidance for mankind until the end of time. In order to establish
peace and security in the world in the present age, it is necessary to
implement some principles on the principles of equality and justice. There is a
dire need to improve society.
